Account and billing

Emails you receive

Which messages we send, which ones you can switch off, and how to unsubscribe.

SiliCode sends two kinds of email, and only one of them is optional. Account emails carry something you asked for; product emails are news you can switch off without affecting your account.

Account emails

EmailWhen it is sent
Your verification codeWhen you register, and every time you ask for a new code.
Your invitationWhen your account is let in from the early-access queue, where that queue is in use.
Support ticket updatesWhen someone replies to a ticket you filed, or its status changes.
Payment receiptsFrom the payment provider, when a charge succeeds.

These are not marketing and cannot be turned off; without them you could not verify an address or follow a ticket. They go to the address on your account.

Product emails

Occasional messages about getting started, new capabilities, and your usage. The switch is in Settings under Product emails, and it takes effect immediately.

Every product email also carries an unsubscribe link. Following it turns the same switch off without you needing to sign in, and confirms that it worked; if the link has expired, the switch in Settings does the same job.

Note

Turning product emails off changes nothing about how runs behave, what they cost, or what you can reach. It is separate from the analytics switch that sits above it in Settings; see Privacy and analytics.

When an email does not arrive

  • Check the spam or junk folder first; verification codes are the usual casualty of an aggressive filter.
  • Allow a minute before asking for a new code. Requesting several in a row does not make the first arrive faster.
  • If you mistyped the address, fix it from the verification screen rather than making a second account; see Verify your email.
  • A corporate mail filter that drops us entirely is worth raising with us; open a support ticket, which does not depend on email getting through.
