Account and billing
Settings
Profile, appearance, run defaults and the rest of the account surface.
Settings holds your account details, the defaults every new run starts from, and the switches for analytics and email, alongside billing and support. It is reachable from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, and it opens as a window over the chat you are in.
Getting there and back
Open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Settings, or press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) and search for it. The window lists its sections on the left, in four groups: Account, Appearance and Privacy; Run defaults and Coding style; Billing, Usage and Referrals; and Support. Closing it returns you to the conversation you had open.
Profile
Your username and the email address on the account, both read-only. The username was generated from the name you signed up with, and nothing in the product shows it to anyone else.
Note
Changing the email address on a verified account, or resetting a password you have forgotten, is not self-service yet. Ask us and we will do it; see Support. Correcting a mistyped address on an account that has not been verified yet is self-service, from the verification screen.
Referrals
Your referral code, your invite link, and how many invitations have been accepted. Covered in Referrals.
Appearance
Light or dark. SiliCode starts dark and stays there until you pick otherwise; the choice is remembered in your browser rather than on your account, so a different machine starts from the default again.
Run defaults
The same controls as the Run setup panel, saved as the starting point for every new chat: mode, the seven tools, the model tier, output language and target device. Press Save defaults to keep them; the form tells you when something is unsaved.
Tip
This is the highest-value screen in Settings. Setting Auto-Verify, your reset style and your usual target device here removes three decisions from every run you ever make.
Coding style
Your house RTL conventions, applied to every generation. Covered in full in Coding style.
Product analytics and session replay
A single switch, on by default, covering usage analytics and masked session replay. Turning it off stops future collection; see Privacy and analytics.
Product emails
Occasional emails about getting started and new capabilities, separate from account emails such as verification codes. See Emails you receive.
Legal
Links to the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the data processing terms, kept here so the version you agreed to is always one click away.
Support
Your tickets and the way to file a new one. What to send and where is covered in Support tickets.
